Megan & Herman | Summer Engagement Session in the Bosque
Megan and Herman's engagement session took place on a beautiful late spring evening in the Bosque on May 31st. As the sun began to drop lower in the sky, the cottonwoods created a soft canopy of shade and filtered light, providing the perfect backdrop for an evening of photographs.
From the moment we began, it was easy to see the connection these two share. Megan and Herman are genuinely one of the nicest couples I have had the pleasure of photographing. They have an effortless chemistry together that made every photograph feel natural and authentic. Whether they were laughing together, sharing a quiet moment, or simply enjoying each other's company, their connection was undeniable.
One of the things I enjoy most about engagement sessions is getting to know couples before their wedding day. It creates an opportunity to slow down, spend time together, and document who they are at this exciting stage of life. Megan and Herman made that part especially easy. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine affection for one another made the entire evening a joy to photograph.
I am especially excited to photograph their wedding on October 10th at the Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, New Mexico. October is one of the most beautiful times of year to be married in Santa Fe. The crisp autumn air, golden cottonwoods, vibrant aspens in the nearby mountains, and warm evening light create an unforgettable backdrop for a wedding celebration.
If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day will be filled with laughter, meaningful moments, and the kind of genuine connection that makes photographing couples like Megan and Herman such a privilege.
I cannot wait to celebrate with them this October at the Inn and Spa at Loretto.
