Welcome back Blue Rose Beauties! We thought you might need a little Monday afternoon pick-me-up so here we are! You are in for a real treat today because this next wedding is the epitome of classic – a timeless color scheme, an iconic gown – think Meghan Markle with a twist- at one of the most sought after venues in our area, the one and only La Mesita Ranch Estate. This luxury vacation rental situated on 140 acres of NM beauty is just minutes north of majestic Santa Fe but makes you feel worlds away. Some of the characteristics that set this property apart from the rest include the dramatic Italian-inspired equestrian courtyard, arena, and stables as well as cozy patios, private gardens, meadows, ponds, and ancient cottonwood trees. This iconic venue was the perfect setting for such a beautiful celebration. From the incredibly sweet first look through the entire wedding and reception and until the very last second, we absolutely loved capturing the abundant love shared between Natalie & Reed. Besides being incredibly photogenic they were also so kind & lovely and we cherish the time we spent with these love birds! As Thanksgiving quickly approaches we can’t help but think of how incredibly #thankful we are for all of our couples that trust us to capture such a significant moment in their lives especially during a time where nothing feels quite certain. Lauren and Charles, Loretto Chapel

Welcome back to Blue Rose beauties! #WeddingWednesday is always a call for celebration here in our little corner of the internet, but you know our love for New Mexico weddings isn’t confined by a single day! How could it be, when every famed sunrise in our gorgeous state gives us new inspiration by being the first day of a couple’s new life together?!

The sun peeking up on the morning of Charles and Lauren’s new adventure was definitely no exception. We’re still eagerly awaiting the sunshine and blooms of a southwestern spring here, of course, but in the meantime, we’re cozying up to the fond memories of their intimate day. Held by the old-world architecture of the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, Lauren and Charles pledged their boundless love for each other in just each other’s company.

Now, we would die for a grand, 300-people, bustling celebration just as much as the next wedding lovers, but this elopement? Absolutely stole our hearts. Delicate gold detailing throughout the holy sanctuary complimented the lace appliqué of Lauren’s gown, shining alongside her newlywed glow. With Charles in a perfectly tailored suit of grey, the couple created a shimmering little universe to say their I Do’s in — one we’ll be dreaming of forever. And how could we not?! Being there to capture every moment from the sun’s first bean through the stained glass windows, to the last second when Lauren and Charles sped off into the distance in a sleek vintage town car was the honor of a lifetime.

Welcome back Blue Rose Beauties! Today’s stunning Santa Fe, NM wedding has everything we could ever need – the SWEETEST couple in love, an adorable ring bearer and iconic southwestern details at every turn- cue the mariachi band! Not only that but we promise that after scrolling this next blog you are going to want to watch a Disney Movie. The fairytale-like features of one of our all time favorite venues, La Fonda on the Plaza, matches our next couple perfectly. The mountain backdrop to the ceremony along with the bride’s modern cinderella gown gives us all the Fairy Tale feels. Did we mention the bride’s gown had pockets- YES Pockets! If we could give an award for effortlessly chic bride of the year, Stephanie would win hands down. While Stephanie and Felipe look like two models plucked out of a love story we assure you they are as real and down to earth as they come. They planned an intimate wedding that was truly a touching celebration of love. Subtle yet beautiful florals put all of the shine on the beautiful venue, the couple and their love! To put it simply, the entire day was a total dream. To Stephanie & Felipe- if you are out there reading this- thank you so much for trusting us to capture this monumental occasion- we are so honored to be part of it all and may you both live happily ever after!

Pure, unadulterated – wedding magic, of course! You must know how much we love La Fonda on the Plaza weddings by now and this next celebration of Aaron and Emma totally reaffirms that love. When it comes to tying the knot, we are sure that nothing could tell their love story better than the natural beauty of Santa Fe, New Mexico. This area is home to some of the state’s most breathtaking wedding venues and might we add, the most talented wedding professionals ever! The iconic color palette of white, ivory, cream, and muted blush was incorporated into everything from the table design to the floral arrangements. The masterminds at Floriography Flowers brought this bride’s neutral color palette to life with just the right touches of texture and flair. Have you ever seen cotton incorporated into a bouquet? Yes we said cotton! This bountiful bouquet is unlike anything we’ve seen before and needless to say we are living for all of it. Looking back at this idyllic ceremony at the Cathedral, her iconic lace dress and all the details in-between has us feeling so nostalgic. We feel beyond honored to have lived this magical day first hand at a wedding where you could literally feel the elegance and love radiating through the rooftops. We were there to capture the beauty of the day as the couple exchanged vows surrounded by close friends and family, now we hope you will stay with us a while and watch it unfold, all over again.

Caley and James, Loretto Chapel

Do you ever look at a couple and think wow those two are going to have one interesting, lively, hilarious life together? That’s the exact sentiment that I had in my heart while choosing highlights to show you from their perfectly planned celebration. This gorgeous summer day in sweet ole Santa Fe New Mexico is everything classic wedding dreams are made of. The bride was an absolute vision donning an elegant lace wedding gown while her delicate bouquet, adorned with beautiful anemones and garden roses by Artichoke and Pomegranates, was the perfect floral accessory to match. James is in the running for our most dapper groom of the year and was channeling major James Bond vibes. For this Mr. and Mrs, spending their day walking into their forever in a modern, yet timeless chapel and venue with lots of natural lighting and endless photo opportunities was always written in the cards and that is exactly what they found at Loretto Chapel and La Fonda on the Plaza.

#WeddingWednesday is in full effect and has me smiling from ear to ear, capture after capture, because the connection that Caley and James share is not only electric but their playfulness is palpable and IMO that might be the most endearing quality when it comes to romance. Joanne Woodward said, “Sexiness wears thin after a while and beauty fades, but to be married to a man who makes you laugh every day, ah, now that’s a real treat.” We couldn’t agree more Joanne! There were lots of laughs but also lots of profound emotions floating around on this wedding day, just wait until you see the groom’s face when he catches that first glimpse of his bride coming down the aisle… oh my gosh our hearts! So many beautiful things to witness with these two and we hope you will grab some tissue, get cozy, get your scrolling finger and relive this beautiful day with us….
